"Create Stunning Galleries with Envira Gallery for Your WordPress Website in 2023"



 As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Envira Gallery is a popular WordPress gallery plugin that offers a user-friendly interface and various customization options for creating stunning galleries. If you want to install and configure the Envira Gallery plugin on your WordPress website in 2023, follow these steps:

Step 1: Install the Envira Gallery Plugin


1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

2. In the left-hand menu, go to "Plugins" and click "Add New."

3. In the search bar, type "Envira Gallery."

4. Find the Envira Gallery plugin and click "Install Now."

5. After installation, click "Activate" to enable the plugin on your website.


Step 2: Create a New Gallery


1. Once the plugin is activated, you should see an "Envira Gallery" option in the left-hand menu of your WordPress Dashboard.

2. Click on "Envira Gallery" and then click the "Add New" button.

3. Give your gallery a name and optionally, a description.


Step 3: Add Images to Your Gallery


1. After creating the gallery, you'll be redirected to the "Images" tab.

2. Click the "Select Files from Computer" button to upload images from your computer. Alternatively, you can use images from your media library.

3. Select the images you want to add to the gallery and click "Insert into Gallery."


Step 4: Configure Gallery Settings


1. After adding images, click on the "Config" tab to configure your gallery settings.

2. In this section, you can customize various aspects of your gallery, such as the number of columns, image size, lightbox settings, and more. Adjust the settings according to your preferences.


Step 5: Customize Appearance (Optional)


1. If you have the "Addons" feature available, you can install additional addons to further customize your gallery's appearance and functionality. For example, you might find addons for social sharing buttons, video support, and more.

2. Go to the "Addons" tab to browse and install the available addons.


Step 6: Insert Gallery into Your WordPress Website


1. Once you've configured your gallery to your liking, click the "Publish" button to save your gallery.

2. After publishing, you'll see a shortcode generated for your gallery. Copy the shortcode.


Step 7: Display the Gallery on Your Website


1. To display the gallery on a specific page or post, create a new or edit an existing page/post.

2. In the WordPress editor, add a new block and search for the "Shortcode" block.

3. Paste the Envira Gallery shortcode into the "Shortcode" block and update or publish the page/post.


Step 8: Preview and Test


1. View the page/post on your website to see the Envira Gallery in action.

2. Ensure that the gallery looks and functions as intended.
